Aromatherapy is both art and science. The people of Ancient Kemet (Egypt) believed that plants had healing power in their spirit. The embodiment of that spirit was the essential oil extracted from those plants. The use of aromatic oils was used for therapeutic massage, perfuming the body, conditioning the skin and healing.
